A year ago we got the chance to stay at Carlisle's family home while shooting for Muddy Sneakers.  Carlisle was an outdoor educator at the time for the children's non-profit which we cherished contributing our eye for nature while photographing for them for several years.  While down there Carlisle's mom, Missy, was so kind to offer us a place to stay at the Rankin Family Farm.  The whole time there we thought about how lovely it would be to take photos of this beautiful piece of land just outside of downtown Asheboro.  Little did we know at the time that this would be the wedding venue for Carlisle and Patrick's wedding.  Very fitting for an outdoor educator!  

The family home was the ideal setting for a backyard wedding in North Carolina.  They arranged an arch over the ceremony site and placed details throughout the yard arranged by Missy.  With a campground by the pond for the guests to stay the night, a play area in the front for the kids and a cocktail tent outback for the adults, the day was arranged to be fun for all.  We love the idea behind backyard weddings for the laid-back vibe that embraces all who attend by creating an interactive space while enjoying all the luxuries of home.
